The most “titled” tournament weight among men is 74 kg. There, three world champions - Khetik Tsabolov, Magomedrasul Gazimagomedov and Magomed Kurbanaliev - will strive to get on the podium. The competitors are: the bronze medalist of the European Championship-2019, Timur Bizhoev, the winner of the World Championship 2019 under 23 years old, Razambek Zhamalov, the winner of the European Championship among juniors, Magoma Dibrigadzhiev. Krasnoyarsk Territory will be presented by the winner of the European Championship under 23 years old, Nikita Suchkov and the winner of the World championship among students, Nadirbeg Khizriev. The Mongolian wrestlers might prevent the Russians from winning the medals.
In the weight category up to 86 kg, the bronze medalist of the World Cup 2019, Arthur Naifonov, the bronze medalist of the World Cup 2010, Soslan Ktsoyev, as well as the European champion 2017, the winner of the European Games 2019, Dauren Kurugliev, clearly claim for the tournament awards. Women will compete for awards in three weight categories. Among the participants up to 68 kg, the bronze medalist of the Olympic Games, Ekaterina Larionova, from Kazakhstan, and the silver medalist of the World Cup 2019, Nasanburmaa Ochirbat, from Mongolia, will try to leave the rivals without a chance for a medal. So, it is going to be difficult for Russian girls. In the category of up to 72 kg, the most dangerous rival of Russians is the winner of the World Junior Championship, May Shindo from Japan. During the tournament in the semifinals, silver medalist of the 2016 European Championship Alena Starodubtseva from the Krasnoyarsk Territory can compete with her.
